I look at INDI as a benefit; kindof like when SGP came around and stirred the pot with regards to the older imaging programs. INDI will force ASCOM to remain relevant. I like using smaller/cheaper devices for my imaging computer because inevitably they fail due to exposure and need to be replaced.
But, I can appreciate having a full computer too. I dislike having to move all my files from one computer to another.
