Hello,
Am new to the forum, have been trying to lookup a solution to my issue - apologies if this has already been resolved.
My setup: Camera: Nikon D7100, Mount: Celestron CGEM DX.
Steps:
a. Polar aligned using PoleMaster, focused on M33 outside of SGP. Started SGP, opened the Framing and Mosaic wizard and set my scale to 0.8" / px.
b. Started the sequence by clicking 'Run Sequence' - the plate solve failed, it went through the retries (4). Each time it gave an error that the pixel error in RA and DEC combined were higher than my tolerance set (50PX). This even failed when I increased the tolerance.
Looking at my logs though, it seems like SGP was giving a set of sync coordinates (RA/DEC) to my mount. After the Sync / Center, SGP was reading off the values - and there was a difference...so, the mount wouldn't slew exactly where it was asked to. Likely because the mount mechanics may cause it to miss the new target.
Is there an EQMOD or SGP setting that I'm missing?
My logs are here
Appreciate any response / pointers.
