Thanks Ken this has worked. New beta 2.5.2.3 now able to start correctly.
The repeated attempts to install has sure screwed up things - up at 4.00am to check how my sequence went and my mount failed to flip, and sequence was aborted at about 11:30pm shortly after I went to bed
