Choose Base Directory each time?
Why am asked to choose a valid base directory each time I start a sequence ? Makes no sense to have this redundant msg each time.

Choose Base Directory each time?
Have you designated the default image directory in options? Go to Tools/Option and define your default images directory, along with the file naming pattern, and you shouldn't get that message each time.
