Disable "Analyzing Star Data?"
If you have image history disabled then it's not actually "Analyzing Star Data". It's likely downloading the image and if you have a DSLR then it is converting the RAW into something we can display....
View ArticleSyncless centering successful! 2.5.2.3
buzz: Just tried this in 2.5.2.4 last night and the offset sync still requires an explicit re-setting after loading the sequence for it to work. Thanks, we'll address this. Jared

Thanks guys. Something else must have changed in the system then, because it's definitely hanging at that message. It's absolutely not the image download. I've used the same computer and camera, so...

Hi there, I am also thinking of adding a small 1k resistor to generate some heat internally. There is just a little bit of fogging on the window really cold nights. But not enough of a problem right...

Hello, all, This post might seem a little abrupt, and I assure you it's not meant that way. I'm running into issues getting answers about software - SGP Pro is one of three products I'm looking at....

Can't attach fits / raw files here. But there seems to be some serious issues with Canon imaging at least with my 500D. Image taken with exactly the same settings with BackYardEOS show lot's of stars...

not at all to minimize SGP, but what you are looking for is ACP expert. it can run completely unattended. SGP requires user input and does not support any horizon constraints at present. rob

I agree with what Rob says. SGP is primarily aimed at mobile observers and those with home observatories. Not for complete remote operation (although some users certainly do this). APC Personal Expert...

yes, very true - if you are willing to log in once a day and start the observatory, then SGP would probably work for completely remote operation. even ACP needs to be restarted from time to time,...
